Occupational Therapy Assessments, Training, Supervision & Business Services
Practical OT is based in the NSW Southern Highlands and provides comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments, personalised intervention, workplace and parent training, professional OT supervision, and practical business support services.
We deliver individualised strategies that are tailored to each person’s strengths, goals, and everyday environments, helping children, families, workplaces, and organisations build skills, confidence, and meaningful participation. While we are based in the NSW Southern Highlands region, we also travel to provide face-to-face assessments across regional, rural, and remote Australia.
In addition to supporting clients, we help Occupational Therapists grow through clinical supervision and professional learning, and assist small OT businesses with practical administrative solutions allowing clinicians to spend more time focusing on the people they support.
Children and Families
Practical OT provide a range of Occupational Therapy services for children, including: assessments, parent consultation, short-term interventions, and ongoing therapy at home, preschool or school. Practical OT also provides supervision for allied health practitioners and educators working with children and families.
Adults, Carers and Families
Do you need an independent Home Assessment for your activities of daily living? If you are an NDIS or Aged Care participant, Practical OT will visit you to complete an individualised Home Assessment. We also provide Functional Capacity Assessments, equipment prescription, advice for home modifications and assistive technology.
Additional Services
We also offer manual handling and ergonomic assessments, WHS and risk management, disability access, specialist support co-ordination for NDIS participants, telehealth and travel to regional, rural and remote areas of Australia.
