Practical OT will provide manual handling, ergonomic and human factors assessments within the workplace to ensure users can perform tasks safely, comfortably and efficiently considering all the physical, cognitive and organisational factors.
We will assess the user interacting with the task and provide practical solutions and recommendations to improve the design of the system. Practical OT can complete a variety of assessments including task analysis, user-testing, workload and anthropometric analysis, manual handling and workstation assessments, human factors integration, and compliance reviews to ensure the design of the system meets relevant Australian and International Standards.
WHS and Risk Management
Practical OT will complete risk assessments, written safety procedures, and incident investigations to comply with Work Health & Safety Legislation.
We will attend your workplace to assess the users and their interaction with their tasks including vehicles, plant and manual handling and will provide practical solutions to eliminate or reduce the hazards, risks and incidents to improve safety.
Practical OT will also complete safety audits, system development and procedures, and manual handling training for your business.
Disability Access
Practical OT will assess and provide advice for users interacting with private and public dwellings, infrastructure and transport to ensure it complies with Australian Disability Standards.
