Emma is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist having worked for over 25 years with neurodiverse children, as well as with children with complex disabilities and their families. Emma’s core goals are to create the best supports around a child and to assist them to achieve their goals and thrive.
Emma works specifically in assessing children in order to assist with providing the right supports for their development. At Practical OT Emma provides Functional Capacity Assessments, comprehensive developmental assessments, autism assessments to assist in the diagnostic process, sensory assessments, motor assessments and clinical observations to for positive behaviour support plan development. Emma has worked for NSW Health, The Department of Education, Catholic Education, in Not-for-Profits, and in her own private practice, in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Emma is a senior clinical supervisor and has extensive experience in clinical supervision of Occupational Therapists. She is passionate about access to clinical supervision for all stages of Occupational Therapy practice and provides supervision and creates professional development training packages for students and clinicians.
